2. Hosting (united-domains)
Our website is hosted by united-domains AG, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with united-domains (Art. 28 GDPR).
Processing takes place for the purpose of technical operation and IT security (Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR).
3. Server Log Files
When you access our website, server log files are automatically processed (e.g., IP address, date/time, requested URL, referrer, user agent).
Purpose: Operation, error analysis, and security (Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR).
Retention: 7 days, unless security-related events require longer storage.
4. Cookies & Device Access (TDDDG/GDPR)
For technically necessary functions, we rely on § 25 para. 2 TDDDG.
Optional technologies (statistics/marketing) are only used with your consent pursuant to § 25 para. 1 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 a GDPR.

5. Consent Management (Complianz, WP Consent API)
We use “Complianz” as a consent management platform. Your selection (purposes/providers, timestamp, consent ID) is stored to fulfill our documentation obligations.

Complianz communicates consents to other plugins (e.g., Site Kit) via the WP Consent API.
6. Web Analytics (Google Analytics 4 via Site Kit)
Use only with consent (category “Statistics”).
Integration is via Google Consent Mode; without consent, no Analytics cookies are set.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited; possible data transfer to Google LLC (USA) based on Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.
Retention of Analytics data: 14 months.
7. Embedded Content (YouTube/Maps)
Third-party content is blocked by default and only loaded after your consent (“Marketing”) (two-click solution).
When playing, providers may process usage data (e.g., IP address, device information).
For YouTube, “Privacy Mode” is additionally enabled.
8. Fonts
Fonts are provided locally; no connection is made to Google Font servers.
9. Contact Requests (Contact Form 7)
Processed data: Name, email, optional company/phone, message.
Purpose: Responding to your inquiry;
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 b (pre-contractual communication) or f (general inquiries).
Spam protection without Google (honeypot/hCaptcha).
Retention: 6 months after completion of processing or in accordance with statutory retention requirements.
Mandatory field: Acceptance of the Privacy Policy (CF7 acceptance field).
10. SSL/TLS Encryption
Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by “https://” in the browser’s address bar and the lock symbol.
11. Your Rights
You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, as well as objection to processing based on Art. 6 para. 1 e/f GDPR.
Consents granted can be revoked at any time.

12. Automated Decision-Making / Profiling
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
13. Data Transfer to Third Countries (outside the EU/EEA)
When using certain services (e.g., Google Analytics, YouTube, Google Maps), personal data may be transferred to third countries, in particular the USA.
For the USA, there is currently no adequacy decision by the European Commission, meaning there is no level of data protection comparable to the EU. This may mean that government authorities could access data without our or your knowledge and without effective remedies.
We base the transfer on the following safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR:
Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) of the European Commission concluded with the respective provider, and
additional protective measures (e.g., IP anonymization, encryption).
The transfer will only take place if you have given your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 a GDPR in conjunction with Art. 49 para. 1 a GDPR (e.g., for statistics or marketing cookies).

We update this notice whenever services used or legal requirements change and document the date of change.
